Hon. Albert Green is Of Counsel to the firm and, prior to returning to private practice, served as a Judge of the Circuit Court of Cook County for twenty five years. He attended DePaul University and was also a graduate of the DePaul University Law School. Judge Green has over thirty years experience as a practicing attorney. Judge Green was judge in the Felony trial division for four years. He was then transferred to the Chancery Division where he was judge for twenty-one years, the last two where he was the Presiding Judge of the Chancery Division. His twenty-one years in Chancery is the longest tenure of any Judge that ever sat in the Chancery Court of Cook County. As a judge in Chancery, he presided over many trials involving complex commercial disputes such as contract, products liability, business disputes, injunctions, specific performance, declaratory judgments and disputed coverage issues and other actions formerly cognizable in Courts of Chancery.
Judge Green has heard hundreds of trials during his time on the bench. Judge Green has attended and received the certification of completion from the National Judicial College. He is a member of the Illinois Judges Association, Illinois State Bar Association and the Illinois Supreme Court Legislative Committee.
